So October is gone. Yeah!

What a month October was. I went through several changes that I totally did not see coming, but you know what…My Father in Heaven did! He knew what was going to happen before any of us did. How awesome is that? Home and work changed for me, but I know that although it didn’t all seem for the good, that goodness will come from it. No one promised Life would be easy, not even Our Father, but He did promise to hold our hand and help us along the way and make it easier for us if we choose to follow Him. I have chosen to follow Him for sometime now, and He is right. Is it always easy? No. Do I ever mess up? You bet! But is it worth it? Absolutely. He is so amazing and His mercy and grace is what saved me many years ago and continues to do so. So in that in ALL that He has done to me, through me, and for me, I know that I am blessed and that He will never send me anything I can not handle or over come, and He will help me along the way, and always love me unconditional. His love for me is the most amazing thing out there. It is all that I need. It is more than enough and it never stops. He is always there no matter what and NOTHING can change that. To those with children of your own…you know that unconditional feeling of love you have for them when you stare them deep into their eyes, to their heart and soul, and your heart melts? Well it’s so much more than that to Him with each of us. Can you imagine?
Psalm 91:14-16. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation.

Last wkend in October...

Friday... After work I hung out with some of the most amazing people that God has placed in my life. We discussed Him and how good He is…among many other things that I do not wish to go into detail about lol (Sarah haha). It is also amazing to me how God knows when we are struggling and in what and then He sends us a message or a random person to encourage us. Just when I was tired of one situation He brought me peace and revelation and it was amazing. After this I went home to my family and hung out with them some before I hit the sack.

Saturday...Jessie had to work so the kids and I got up and ready and headed to the donut store. Once we left there Jessie called to say he was coming home, so we picked him up and headed to the Boyd football game to see my niece Jasmine cheer. That was fun and they totally won. It is great fun to see that age group in girls cheering. My only problem was the live bees. They were everywhere…driving me nuts and then on top of that I wore a sweater (because it was cold when I left) and at the game it was hot. I was melting while being attached by killer bees. Haha. Looking back on it now though all I can do is laugh. After that we went home and chilled for a little bit before we went to see Jessie’s grandparents. They had this festival for Halloween and provided buckets of candy for their residence to give out. They also had free hot dogs and chips, but we ate before we went. It felt really good doing that. All the old people were so excited to see people, especially kids, so that really blessed us. Plus they don’t have great memories so you could walk to place all night long and see them a 100 times and they wouldn’t remember lol. Not that we did that or anything. After that we went around a few blocks with some friends and then to my Aunt Janet’s for games with my family.

Sunday Funday…was great. My Aunt Patti came by early to pick the kids up, because they wanted to go with her to church where she teaches, so Jessie and I stayed home and had some much needed alone time. Then around noon grandma & grandma came over for breakfast and the Cowboy’s game (and BTW they won!) and we had a wonderful time. After that the kids came back and then my grandma, GG, came over to visit with Jessie’s grandparents. After they finished they all left and GG took the kids home with her, so Jessie and I watched Firefroof alone. Then my grandparents came back with the kids and we had lasagna and it was muy bueno. After that it was off to bed. I absolutely love laid back peaceful weekends and this was definitely one!
